Senior Photos - What You Need To Know!
Senior portrait season is in full swing - below I have some tips to make your experience with Jackie awesome!
Be Outfit Savvy - When it comes to picking out clothing for your session, we understand the options are endless. Having variety is important for a great session. Bringing a variety of seasons will help your session have a more defined look.
Avoiding big patterns/horizontal stripes, wearing heels not flip flops and having manicured nails will add the polished look to your session. Professional make up application is HIGHLY recommend for all girl sessions.
When putting together your outfits consider the following themes as a guide for selecting outfit elements.
Fields and Flowers - Get in touch with nature, sundresses, denim jackets, boots, large sun hats , leaves, tall grass, dirt road, barn, fences streams/river.
Urban - Jeans, leather jackets, shorts, heels or tall boots, anything that gives you the high end fashion look in an urban and downtown location
Activities/Hobbies - Seniors are involved in so many sports and hobbies. Bring your uniforms, equipment, and instruments. Please advise me at booking if you want to go to a location (pools, gyms, etc) that need to be coordinated.
Dramatic/Cinematic - prom dresses, full tuxedo, suits, fashion forward outfits, dramatic lighting, smokey eyes. These are images created in the studio.
Clothing should be pressed and free of stains and each outfit should have accessories.

No New Dos - Do not get a hair cut the day before your session and do not try a new hair style before your session. Do bring hair spray, clips, headbands and other hair accessories.
Collaborate - trust your photographer and collaborate with them on ideas.
Arrive Early! - 10-15 minuets prior to your session allows time to settle in make last second outfit adjustments if needed.
